Even if I can't make it on the morning (given that it is our last day and we may get tied up) - I'm sure that Wayne would be more than happy to catch up at Ikspiari.

Thank you everyone - we are down to one sleep to go!

We had a bit of a scare yesterday as Della woke up very sick with cold-like symptoms and we were seriously considering delaying departure, but by yesterday evening, she was a little better and is heading to the doctor this morning to stock up on drugs

At this present point of time, we are about 90% certain of leaving on time and will make a decision this afternoon. She is very upset of course - she hasn't had a cold in over a year! But she's one of those people who can't fly with a sinus problem - last time I made her do that (2005 - San Francisco) she perforated an eardrum (bad boyfriend...) so we are just hoping the sinuses stay clear for another 24 hours-48 hours!

You'd have to take a number and step in line - I've got a bunch of people here at work also lined up! haha

But you'll all be disappointed. The doctor has given Della the "Go For Launch" signal - so despite some discomfort, we'll be getting on that plane tomorrow!

And by the time Della meets Duffy on Tuesday - I'm sure all of this will be forgotten.

I just thought I'd let you all know that Della is feeling much better today and we are now all set to go! She's not 100% but is happy for the first time in three days that she'll make the flight okay.

In 24 hours, we'll be at the resort. This is probably my last post until I arrive in Japan (not because I'm heading to the airport early, but because I'm watching the motor racing from Bathurst - boys will be boys!) - so I'll see you all on the other side!

Qualifying at Suzuka was postponed due to heavy rain, I hope this clears by the time Della and Keith get there. Torrential rain won't be a good way to start, but I suppose the upside is they won't have a problem with queues.

P.S. How's Della's health?

That's funny Beth. We said the same thing, that it is very surreal to be here. This is Day 1 update. When we arrived, it was raining, but by the time we got the bus, it had stopped. We dropped off our luggage then went to Ikspiari for morning tea and shopping at Disney Store and Bon Voyage. The sun came out and we had lunch at the Disneyland Hotel. I had a fantastic teriyaki chicken toasted sandwich and Della had the salmon. More shopping at Miracosta then back to Hilton to check in. Now relaxing on top floor of Hilton overlooking the park! Fantastic newly refurbished room. Disneyland tomorrow followed by Disney on Classic concert tomorrow night in Ichikawa City! Della is okay, but still has bad cold but is doing well to keep up. She has been spotting Duffys all day. Will update again tomorrow.
