p.s. Great blog update :D
Ta... I just re-read it and was horrified by the quantity of typos.
I was saying to Della that I should have asked you to get a photo of our brick in the Esplanade while you were there - I completely forgot. And also of Nicole's brick - she hasn't even seen hers yet and it was laid nearly 2 years ago - it was put down just after we left in late 2006 so we missed it too.
Oh Man.... :( I can't tell you how many times I wandered between the parks and actively looked for you guys bricks. I seriously looked every time I criss-crossed ( which was a lot) but never saw it. I remembered what it looked like even... just not where. I even tried to remember to ask you while I was there, but I was usually so tired by the time I got back to my room, that it escaped me again.
Ooh  ... that is really disappointing... I so would have taken some photos for you.
maybe Beth can on her way through?

Another quality entry Lisa. But I will say that find it extremely bizarre that you would leave Disneyland and go shopping, just because your camera battery was flat. I could think of so many other useful and entertaining ways of killing - no utilising - that time. Maybe the bee sting was a message to you to trun back ....

hehee....

Ok... let me explain.

I have inherited something that has been passed down through my family for generation after generation. My grandmother called it the Siemering Weakness ( pronounced Simmering) - mostly because it didn't come from her side  . too long a story .... involves the compulsion to write stuff down/document everything.

And I did try and do other stuff in Disneyland... but I just kept thinking... Oh... I'd have gotten a shot of that if only I had a camera... that was truly traumatic.
Besides... shopping is always an acceptable second choice. :)

Just one of my quirks I'm afraid.

Yep! They are both in the Esplanade - you can't miss them :D

Seriously though, that would be so cool if you could get photos - I've got their location codes at home, I'll find them tonight. I'll also post a picture of their general location. Thanks again Beth!

Update:

Ooh - here we go :)

My brick is at C06 Number 590
The C06 denotes which diamond section we are in - and 590 is the brick number within that diamond.

I've added the map below - as you can see, C06 is actually two sections of the Esplanade - a diamond, plus a little extra bit - we are in the little extra bit :)
The red dot is the approximate location.

As for Nicole's brick - I couldn't find her details in my email, so I'll have to get them off her again. I think it was around C30, but not sure of the brick number...about 358 or something if I remember.

Thanks Beth!!
Keith

Now Lisa, 2 things.

1. You need to update your blog. There's still a couple of days left surely.
2. You've hinted, but never elaborated on the rest of your trip, prior to the Anaheim finale. As Sandie is doing, regaling us with her daily exploits, I'm interested to know what your trip also entailed. Where you went, what you saw and experienced.

OK I have printed it out and put it with all the other paperwork I'm taking - 6 weeks and 2 days to departure! I think Wayne said he and Jenny are flying out the same day!

Ok...the trip blog is finished.
... although, if you're looking for more Disney content you might be a little disappointed.

The last two entries are more of an overview and tribute to my mum than anything else as the last days were a bit of a blur.

I've bowed to pressure from my far flung family and friends to start a 'regular rubbish' blog so when I get that firing I'll post a link for those bored enough to need something mundane to read.

Ok... well, if you are bored and you're game, ... here is my new home on the net. I hope to give it a more flashy abode one day, but for now... the insta-blog will do.
