Universal Studios Beijing is Official

Looks like Shanghai Disneyland is about to get some serious competition!
Universal have today announced that they will go ahead and build a $3.3 billion resort and theme park complex in Beijing China.

Universal haven't said what attractions will be there yet, but with the recent success of the latest Transformer movie in China, then you can be sure that the Transformer ride will be there!
