This weekend, there is a cruise expo being held in Sydney and Disney Cruise Line is scheduled to appear. (I expo is also being held in other states but it looks like Sydney is the only place Disney is attending).

The Expo is on at Darling Harbour on Sunday only - I plan on heading over there just in case they have special deals! :D

Make sure you know the Disney prices as well as the various TA prices before you go. On board credit is a common carrot, so weigh up the prices versus OBC offered. Enjoy!

Thanks AJP - I was doing my homework last night. Now I just have to wait until tomorrow (of course, it may just be an information booth, if so, I'll pick up extra brochures for the club :) )

Did anyone find any great Disney cruise specials at the expo?

I've noticed our 2013 Magic Mediterranean cruise has gone up since we booked 6mths ago and I was hoping to book something for early 2014.

We arrived before opening, shuffled in with the mature aged crowd, elbowed our way around the tables collecting brochures and were out in under 30 minutes - phew!

Yep - I was surprised by the demographic that attended!

We got there about 11am and the place was packed. We ran into Daniel from the club and had a quick chat with him and then we squeezed over to the Disney Cruise Line booth and spoke to the two people there. I asked about any specials on the Eastern Caribbean cruise (there was no 'specials' brochure for that although there was one for the Western Caribbean). The Disney guy said sure they had a Eastern special - go see the Flight Centre people to see about booking it.

When we went to the Flight Centre desk, they didn't know anything about any specials and just logged onto the Disney Cruise Line public website to give us a price (which we can do by ourselves and not have to pay FC a $70 per person booking fee) - so we left! Daniel had offered to look at prices for us, so we've just emailed him now to see what sort of package he can put together.

I wouldn't have been from much, much personal experience.
