Check out the report on CNN about the Disney Fantasy getting pounded in the hurricane. There is great video of the aftermath with the on board gift shop pretty much destroyed.

I went through a couple of hurricanes while I was working on the ships. I can remember seeing all the water sloshing out of the pool, bottles and glasses being flung around a bar and having to hold the walls to stay in my bunk. But all through that I kept trying to imagine what it would be like to work in the kitchen. Passengers would expect life to go on like normal.
