Disney Cruises are offering an amazing price on a repositioning cruise from Port Canaveral to Barcelona Spain. Only problem is it is in May - so you have to book now :) Maybe not practicable, but something to look out for in future years. Fancy 14 nights on a Disney cruise ship for $799!

Here is the press release!
A Disney Cruise Line 14-Night Eastbound Transatlantic Cruise takes your family on a voyage aboard the Disney Magic to 5 exciting ports of call on both sides of the vast Atlantic Ocean. Ports include, Disney's Castaway Cay;Madeira, Portugal; Cádiz, Spain; Gibraltar, U.K. and Barcelona, Spain—plus 8 relaxing days at sea.

The cruise starts May 14, 2011 for $799 per person based on double occupancy in "Inside Category with Restrictions" staterooms.

This rate is valid for new bookings only on the May 14, 2011 14-Night Transatlantic sailing.

What a bargain! If this came up ten years ago, I would have been all over it.

Cool! I think it's about time that we visit Disneyland Paris again. Spain - France, so close really, why waste the long trip from Oz?

Now I just need to convince DH...

That is excellent value. On the long ones though the balcony would be the better option, but it would still be as cheap and great value. Short notice is an issue, and did you check the fine print because when they advertised the kids sail free on the Alaskan cruises the fine print said only open to US and Canada residents.

Repositioning cruises are great value. We badly wanted to do the one from Port Canaveral to LA through the Panama Canal on the Wonder but circumstances would't allow it. This European repositioning is high on the desirability list, but I reckon we'd do it the other way. An excellent alternative is to reposition from LA to Vancouver then back to back the Alaskan cruise. As you can see this has been well thought through and researched in our house 8) .

I'm planning a big European trip in 2014 ending with a Mediterranean cruise plus a reposition back - now if only DIsney would oblige my itinerary!
