Share of cruise profit

I think Disney need to cut me in on some of their cruise profit because I seem to be doing a good job of selling cruises for them even though they don't bother to advertise here. A girl at work who has been planning her first DL trip with her 9 year old daughter surprised me today saying she had just booked the 4 night cruise after finding $200 return airfare from LA to Orlando!

If you don't mind asking, I'd be very interested as to where she found a flight for $200 from LA to ORL. I would love to find a direct flight, the stopovers are a killer. On off, wait wait, on off wait wait...its just takes so much time!

What we really need whilst your at it is a really strong tug boat that can drag Australia closer to Florida!

The year we flew United from here we got flights to any other US city for $100 each - it was a direct to Orlando.

This girl from work returned this week - buzzing - she said guess what was the highlight of the trip - the cruise! (Guessed it!) However when I started to get to the details I said what did you do on Castaway Cay. She said.... wait for it... they slept in and missed it GASP. They didn't wake up until 1.30 and got off the boat at 3.30 and by that time everyone was coming back on. From memory you have to be back on by 5pm. THE HORROR! Doesn't she know you don't sleep on Disney holidays? That's what long haul flights are for.

She did have a great time even though the first ride they did was Tower of Terror and they had no idea what was going to happen  (didn't she hear the screams as she approached?) and that tipped them over for the rest of the rides.

I can sympathise... I got up later and later as my trip went on last year... exhaustion just kind of took over. Although that IS what long haul flights are for!
Sounds like she had a wonderful time though. :D
