I've hardly turned on my computer in the last few weeks as I've been busy doing other stuff at home.
I assume you've been spending all your time watching the World Cup games live...then the replays...then the analysis...then the replays to check the analysis...then the highlights...

To be honest - you'd hardly even know the World Cup is on at the moment.  I've only seen minimal coverage on the TV news for the Australian games and that's it!  It isn't like the old days when there was saturation of it.

Which is the problem with putting stuff like this on pay TV.

It is going to be a great meeting this Saturday night - Wayne has got a surprise announcement about what he's been up to, as well as some interesting stories from the D23 Expo and Disneyland Resort.

Sounds amazing, but sadly I can't make it.  Have a fantastic meeting, I'm sure it will be super interesting and exciting hearing all about D23 from those who were there!

Sorry you were unwell Gerard.

The meeting was a lot of fun this week - I thought all the talks about the Expo, Star Wars, and the Haunted Mansion were fantastic.

Wayne forgot to mention his surprise until late in the evening - so if you left early, you might have missed it.  He was interviewed on Sky News earlier in the week and it is apparently airing tonight.  They were doing a news article on the Walt Disney Company and asked him into their studio for an interview from the fan perspective I guess.  He'll let us know when it is going to air, but he thinks it'll be tonight around 8pm.

Gerard - Hope you and Michelle are better.  Travelling is great fun, but so easy to get sick!
Keith/Wayne - I don't get Sky News but if you hear the interview is posted online I'd love the link to see it!

I never saw Wayne's article come up, so I'm not sure what show it was on.

Wayne - did you see it?

Sometimes you just have to accept that every 12 years you may lose one game.

To be honest, no complaints, outplayed on the day. It's been a great tournament to watch, upsets, controversies, brilliant play...what more could you want. Even had a giant typhoon in there to add a bit of variety.

Supporting South Africa now to keep the cup in the southern hemisphere.

Haha - well done to South Africa.

In other news, I'll be at the club meeting this coming Saturday.  We originally thought we'd miss out, but our dinner catch up with friends had to be cancelled, so now we'll be at the meeting :)
