See you tonight Lauren!

It was a fun meeting on Saturday night.  It mainly focused on Wayne's trip to the D23 Expo.

Wayne provided a full rundown of the event from the moment he arrived in Anaheim and all the exciting panels and announcements that occurred.

Wayne had a number of panel videos that he showed, then he intersperse those with what was happening on the big screens (which you can't see on the videos).  He mentioned the live action Lion King movie as being a highlight - they showed the entire Circle of Life sequence from the upcoming movie.  I can't wait to see that.

We also had a number of trivia sessions and some great raffle prizes.

See you all at the next meeting - the date is still to be determined, however it is likely in early October.

Anyone else for dinner this Saturday at the Bankstown Sports Club?  Della and I will be in the train carriage at 5:30 as normal.

I know not too many members are active on here, but hopefully a few of you quietly stalk these boards.  I'm coming down to Sydney (thank goodness for frequent flyer points) for the Christmas night next Saturday and am hoping to meet a few of you who are going on the club trip next year.  Now that Japan is over, it's time to plan my next trip.

I'll be there Karen!  Don't forget it is an earlier 6:30pm start and we won't be at the Bankstown Sports Club for dinner as we are doing pizza and chickens at the meeting.

Thanks Keith, I'm trying out a motel just near the club so I'll be walking distance.  Checking in and out during daylight hours, however will suss out the area to see if it's ok for future use.  I was going to make some Gingerbread Mickey's however am concerned they'll arrive as Gingerbread crumbs so may rethink that!  Look forward to catching up
