I don't have any dates yet - but I thought I might as well kick off the thread!

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone and keep an eye out here for news of 2017 meeting dates.  I think Wayne is look for a Saturday in early-mid February.

If anyone has ideas for meeting themes in 2017, post them here too so Wayne can start considering them.  We've been tossing around the idea of a swap-meet so we can buy, barter, swap unwanted Disney merchandise - that sounds like it could be fun

Anyway - for those who are unaware, Wayne is organising a beginning of the year lunch like we had in Parramatta last year.

It is to be held on Saturday, 14 January 2017 at 12:30pm.  The venue is the Sicilian Restaurant, 292 Church Street, Parramatta NSW.

We went there last year and had a terrific time - so we welcome everyone to come and join us.

Does anyone want to catch up at the Bankstown Sports Club for dinner before the meeting? We'll be there around 5:30pm I guess (I assuming I'll be there-I haven't consulted with Della yet!)

And don't forget it is going to be very hot on Saturday. Wayne is filling the fridges with cold water but be prepared, the hall gets hot on hot days!

Brad is working Saturday so we won't be able to make it to dinner But we'll be at the meeting for sure. Not looking forward to the heat. In fact, I'm sick of the heat. I really hate summer. I think I should chase Disney winters during our stinking hot summers.

I'm looking forward to the meeting and catching up with you all, but definitely not excited by the heat. We've had some scorchers in that hall in the past, but we managed to survive them all and will again tomorrow but be prepared to be uncomfortable LOL.

Ok.....I'm starting to cringe at the thought of leaving the house tomorrow. Sooooo hot!!!!

I admit - I bailed.  Well, I had my nephew's birthday party so wouldn't have gone anyway, but it was the first time I have been GLAD to have missed a DUD meet!
