Anyone a member of Disboards?

I'm trying to get a few more members here and thought it might be a good place to subtly plug the club and the site.

I am, although, I've never felt very welcome there.
I wish you luck in plugging anything outside the Disboards world... they are owned and run by a travel agency and believe that any links elsewhere will make members ( and possible clients) leave... for instance, its a big no no to mention you are a member of a FB group for a cruise or anything like that and if you post a link to it, the chances are you will be banned.

I quietly gave this side a plug. From what I see there are no moderators on the Australian section. You might get away with more.

I have been a member at Disboards since 2002 and got directed there by someone from WDWMgic as Disboards had a DVC section. I was looking for info on DVC resales at the time.

I have a plug in my signature. I'll see if there is any traffic from that before I get more aggressive.

I've been on Disboards but haven't used it since they changed, or got rid of, the app.

I've used them for both my cruises - it was great way to meet people

I use to go there a lot. There are a bunch of us who were pretty big posters on the Aus board over there a few years back and started our own FB group from that. Hardly any of us visit DIS anymore. I've mentioned the meetings before, but not here. I'll go do that now actually

Some of my friends have said they'll definitely come over and read - they're trip report piggies. We'll have to entice them out into the open and get them to start posting. Come on guys - it's not like you're SHY! -/ -/ -/
