Yes, please do! We're going to Disneyland as a part of our BIG DISNEY TRIP (which always be written as such   ). We're going to Universal Florida, WDW, Disney Cruise and DL before heading up to San Francisco where I'm hoping to ditch the kids and husband for a few hours to check out the Walt Disney Family Museum.

Any tips you can share on here would be great :)

fyi on the 3rd sunday of everymonth 'walts shed' is open in griffith park, glendale.  Its on the property at La Live Steamers.  La Live steamers is something run by miniature train enthusiasts and they have Walt Disneys Work shed on their property.

It is a miniature barn once used by Walt Disney as a machine shop while operating his miniature "live steam" Carolwood Pacific Railroad layout in the backyard of his home in Holmby Hills, a district of Los Angeles, California.

Its interesting since it shows some of his ride on trains and has items from around that time.   Admission is free but donations are welcome.  You can often by posters and teeshirts and such there which make nice souvenirs.  And also ride the LA Live Steamers miniature trains which is fun for all ages.

I also recommend a visit to Walt's Barn - there are some great historic artifacts there from Walt's time as a model train enthusiast and you often meet people there who have links to Disney.

Next step is being able to use your disney id.  Its coming but we wanted to get the new site up first for people.
Ahhh - I was wondering if this was going to be incorporated!  That was one of my issues with the original D23 site - always having to manually log in using a different account to my normal Disney.com ID.  Thanks for the update Kevin.

Are they going to have separate content again for registered D23 members like the old site had?
We will be staying at Paradise Pier this friday/saturday
I hope you and your family have fun down there!  I've never stayed at Paradise Pier before - you'll have to let us know what it is like.  Shame you weren't there a few more days - I'll be at the Disneyland Hotel from Monday night :D (I've never stayed there either!)
Coming back to this conversation about D23.com  Check out the Site Again.  There have been some changes.

Thanks Kevin - I saw the site had been hinting at this for a few weeks now.

Great to see that we are just using our standard Disney ID now and not a separate one!

Hope things are going well over there Kevin - have you had a chance to see an early screening of Zootopia yet?

My screening of Zootopia is next friday afternoon at the studio backlot.  I think it opens around then anyway so wont get to see it earlier.  Its fun though to go to these.  They have people involved with the films introduce them and thats interesting.

From what I have seen I think its going to be good.  They had a preview at bugs land in the 'its a bugs life' theatre and that was pretty good.  So looking forward to seeing the full movie.

Hey Folks.  One of the benefits I have with working for the Mouse is I get to work remote.  I will be working from Disneyland & DCA on the following dates.

Friday 1st April
Monday 4th April to Wednesday 6th April.

If you see a guy with a laptop sitting at a table in the French quarter or somewhere else in the parks its probably me so come and say Hi!.

A photo below of one of the previous times I worked from Disneyland.

:D

Do you get any funny looks or comments from people who are wondering why the strange guy came all the way to Disneyland just to stare at a laptop?

Greg, Often I will have my badge visible (and always when I go backstage) so I dont get many questions.  I dont go backstage that often, though if main street is crowded or the parade is on then its quicker and easier to bypass main street by going back stage.  There is a little loss of the magic though when you almost knock Elsa down because she's walking and txting someone on her mobile.  :-)
