And yes - the new version of the website is much better than the old one - it is easier to navigate, looks cleaner, and just more user friendly!

Next step is being able to use your disney id. Its coming but we wanted to get the new site up first for people.

We will be staying at Paradise Pier this friday/saturday and hitting the parks for the weekend. Looking forward to it as I haven't stayed at that hotel before.

Ahhh - I was wondering if this was going to be incorporated! That was one of my issues with the original D23 site - always having to manually log in using a different account to my normal Disney.com ID. Thanks for the update Kevin.

Are they going to have separate content again for registered D23 members like the old site had?

I hope you and your family have fun down there! I've never stayed at Paradise Pier before - you'll have to let us know what it is like. Shame you weren't there a few more days - I'll be at the Disneyland Hotel from Monday night (I've never stayed there either!)

How do you like the Disneyland Hotel? Did you enjoy staying there?

I was at the haunted mansion on the weekend but a check of a cast member app says its closed for refurbishment. I expect that means they are setting it up for halloween. I think I enjoy the Halloween haunted mansion more than when its normal.

Did you get to see the paint the night parade? I took some pics and video of it if you missed it.

For those interested we had our staff Halloween party at the Studio Back lot last Friday which is always a hoot.

There is always a costume contest and assorted entertainments. There is a video of one of the costume contests on that shared page also.

There were some great Halloween outfits there. It looks like a fun afternoon

I really want that storm trooper armour.
