We never did get the chance to try any of the other food places and I'm stuck in Canberra all this week, so is it okay if we stay at Outback Jacks again this month?

I think Sandie is the really the one who is not keen on it but I'm sure she'll endure as the company is so worth it!

Haha - great night everyone. I hope we didn't scare our new friends Julie, Michelle and Angus too much

Just to recap, Wayne began with an update on Disney news, including a photo update on construction at Shanghai Disney Resort, Ratatouille in Paris, and a breakdown on the box-office records of Frozen.

We then moved into our true/false trivia, which knocked out everyone except Julie and Alissa - and even a bunch of tie-breakers couldn't separate them so they both got a poster.

Wayne and Jess then undertook a book review - Wayne showing "The Art of Frozen" and Jess showed a number of items including the latest "Disney Princess" magazine which featured a photo of her two daughters, as well as a glorious book "One Day at Disney" which is an awesome photo book that I definitely need to find online somewhere!

Wayne asked people to bring their favourite memories of things they've done in the parks. Wayne talked about running into his favourite characters Chip 'n' Dale in Hong Kong, and Julie Mc talked about how she gave away a balloon to a disabled child in Tokyo and the reaction she got from the child's family.

We moved on to "What have you found since last meeting?" and Jan showed us a number of items she picked up on a recent cruise that took her to Hawaii (which naturally took her to a Disney Store there...). Hawaiian stitch and Easter bunny Mickey to name just a few.

Next up was round one of Group Trivia, using Wayne's iPad app for a round of questions. Remarkably our team of Beth, Gerard, Michelle, Angus, Nicole, Matt and Della score a perfect 15 out of 15 - so we were odds on for the chocolates

We then had a presentation on Aulani resort in Hawaii - which looked beautiful and has probably swayed Della and I to try it out - the photo of sunset over the lagoon was just amazing!

Gerard, Michelle and Angus then got up to discuss their recent trip to Disneyland - with Gerard showing us some great items including an awesome Lumiere for his desk. They also discussed his in-park proposal to Michelle which included photos! Congratulations to Gerard and Michelle!

A second round of trivia was up next and while we didn't go quite as well, we just managed to maintain a win over Jess's team to win the chocolate! Sorry Jess

We then had a preview of the opening five minutes of the Once Upon a Time castle show at Tokyo Disneyland, followed by a couple of preview trailers for Big Hero 6 and Cinderella. Wayne then tried to show the final five minutes of this season's Once Upon a Time showing a major spoiler for next year - only to be shouted down as the final episode hasn't aired on TV here yet!

I then finished up with telling a story about on of my favourite park experiences where Della ordered $650 worth of photos on my credit card (you had to be there, but I see the funny side now!)

With that, we wound up the meeting and moved on to supper, talking and the lucky door prizes.

So next meeting is on the 2nd August - we thought it would be a cool idea if people could bring Disney head wear - hats, ears, head bands, home made stuff - whatever you can stick on your head; the crazier the better!!!

It was a fun night and finished off an excellent long weekend with Frozen, Saving Mr Banks, Ratatouille and The Incredibles - great DVD weather!
