How are we supposed to RSVP for the End of Year Dinner at Lone Star?
Do we need to send Wayne an email?
I know at the last meeting Wayne did mention something about posting numbers on the Club Site??????

Well as Wayne is in Florida I believe grrrr posting them here will be fine and either Wayne will check in when he's back or Keith will take note.

I have a child turning 19 that day and I'm hoping he gets a better offer than going out with his family so I can go out with the club. (some mother! I live with them and so I don't see why I have to have every meal with them and I spent the last last 18 with him and still remember the day that kick started the birthday thing)

I'm sure we'll have the numbers to book the entire room without any problem. Most people who were at the last meeting indicated they'd be coming along to the dinner so it should be a great night.

The dinner is to commence at 7:00pm

The Lonestar is no more!

But long-live Outback Jack at the same location!

Wayne (who has returned from his Orlando trip safe and sound with Jennifer) rang the other day and said that Lonestar had left a message about their closure, however the new management will honour the room booking for us for next Saturday.

As I mentioned some time ago I don't think I can go either. It is Jacobs birthday and while I have tried to convince him that at 19 he would prefer to go out with his friends he has not made any arrangements to do so

Very sad to miss the club Christmas dinner tonight but had a lovely night with Jake for his 19th. Quesadilla at Guzmen y Gomez followed by churros, dulche de leche and Spanish lattes at San Churros....mmmm! (aren't you impressed with my Spanish?)

Hi everyone - we wrapped up the year with dinner at Outback Jacks. It was great to see everyone for one final time before Christmas.

We are looking forward to another year of meetings in 2012 - make sure you post any ideas for next year in this thread. Quite a few ideas have already come forward, but the more the better!
