Our upcoming club Meeting Saturday 25th November 2006 at 7.30pm.

Location: St Marks Anglican Church Hall
Cnr Auburn Rd & Hume Hwy Yagoona
Note:- The Church hall is located 25 metres along Auburn Rd from the intersection.

Come along and hear all about the various Disney theme parks around the world. Panel discussion on them and the must see attractions at each park. Time of the year to visit and much more. Also our regular Trivia, Disney News segments and much more.

Hey Wayne, I'll be bringing the new Meet the Robinson's trailer and Della will have a selection of goodies from the World Tour. I'm also splicing together a 15-20 minute highlights DVD of the tour, showing highlights of all the parks, parades, sights and sounds (it looks pretty cool too, I might add! Makes me want to do it all again.)

Just wanted to ask about the meeting last night.

Did I miss anything interesting?

We didn’t make it to the meeting due to my husband not being well (I was not at all impressed).

I guess there would have been lots of questions for the people who attended the Ultimate Disney Theme Park Trip.

Was there more interest in one park over the others visited?

Was there any indication of when the next meeting will be in 2007.

Hi Wendy, there were lots of questions, some video clips and we all showed some merchandise we picked up - as well as sharing stories about the trip.

We also had the usual trivia, movie trailers, etc.

The main focus of the meeting was the trip and we hosted a panel discussion where we all talked about different aspects of the parks, what was good, bad, favourite moments etc - no individual park was enquired about more than others, though we may have talked a little more about Paris as it was so unique.

We also talked about the next club tour which is scheduled for April 2008 to Tokyo Disneyland for its 25th birthday. Wayne will provide more details about that on the website soon.

Next meeting will be at the end of February 2007, though the exact date has not been set yet, keep an eye on the website.

Thanks Keith for the update on the meeting.

I was very disappointed that Ashley & I couldn’t make it.

Will keep watch on the website for the February meeting date.

Don’t know that we would go to Tokyo, however we are planning our first ever Disney trip around the April 2008 period. At this stage we are talking about DLC or WDW.
