I missed the presale but general public tickets go on sale this morning at 9:00am.

I'm booking for Saturday the 11th December - so if anyone else is booking, we may be able to catch up down there.

On a related note, we also managed to get tickets to Disney on Classic in Tokyo this year. Disney on Classic is a concert series that has been run for the last ten years or so in Japan which features the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra playing Disney music. This year's program includes music from Fantillusion Parade, Prince of Persia, and the entire Beauty and the Beast soundtrack.

Hey Disney fans,

Long time no see! Who got to the MSO concert in Melbourne on the weekend???

I happen to know a couple of the musicians from the orchestra which made it all the more special BUT the icing on the cake was when my daughter who has just turned four won one of the three prizes for best dressed and was presented on stage by the Saturday Disney crew. She channelled Minnie, sporting her personalised ears from our trip in Jan and a custom skirt made by her Gran for the same trip. I thought it was fab but the MCEC was not as good a venue as Hamer Hall, a little too big.

I was just checking back on some old posts and realised that I bought my MSO tickets 3 months after you Keith and we were in the same row some 8 seats apart!

I'm so glad you guys had a great (Disney) weekend in Melbourne! The Toy Story 3 Bag was filled with lots of great goodies! A gorgeous plush Minnie was the main loot - I had to try and stop my daughter saying that she had 4 Minnies now!! Disney Winter Wonderland DVD, Fantasia Magnetic Jigsaw, 5 CD set of Violin Classsics, MSO Calender, MSO CD and 2 x Caps signed by the Saturday Disney Crew. She got to go up on stage and Sally asked her a question but she was a bit shy.
I have to say I absolutely love the music from Pirates of the Caribbean - there was a routine in my Les Mills Body Combat class at the gym set to that track this year and it is one of my favourites. They made mention of the kid from Saturday that was dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow - sounded like an impressive get up!!

Actually the kid was dressed as Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter - but there was some confusion on the part of the conductor so it must have continued over to the next day. There was also a kid dressed as Emporer Zurg and the guy from Saturday Disney kept say Zorg! They should give the job to people who at least know who they are talking about! Like us!
