What Disney did you get for Christmas?

Postby churros » Sat Dec 26, 2009 6:54 am

Now I don't think Anthony and Colin should be allowed to play this game but what Disney did you get for Christmas? I showed you the photos of mine the other day but I got no more Disney on Christmas day :(

Hmmm - let me see :)
I got The Princess and the Frog soundtrack
I got a Princess mini calendar
I got a Princess pillowcase
(Della thinks she's funny with the Princess stuff! :D )

Most of my loot this year was non-Disney (mainly because I buy all my own Disney stuff!)

Ooohh... fun game...

I have a sister that has taken it upon herself to make sure there is always a Disney 'something' in my loot... bless her.

I got

* a Mickey canvas for the wall ( not a huge one... about 10 inches square) from Sister No.1
* an 'antique' Mickey night light/lamp thing Circa about late 1960's/early 1970's that so far I haven't figured out how to get open to change the blown bulb. It is of the ilk that smells kind of 'formaldaheid-y' when it warms up. Also from Sister No. 1
* A Mickey T shirt. From Millie
* The Wii game 'Toy Story Mania' - from Santa  for the whole family of course ....

The game was fun ( mostly because a lot of it is like the one in DL... especially the sore arm bit  , its very easy to play and navigate but really not as much fun solo... definitely need a challenger there) we played it for a fair while but the other game Santa brought 'Just Dance' was BUCKETLOADS of fun and it got the biggest work out - or should I say WE got the biggest work out... which is not easy on such a full tummy

You may like to reconsider when you realise you will be sitting next to two toddlers for 10+ hours each way

I think I'll hold onto my present anyway Lisa, but thanks for offering!

I had a two year old kicking me in the knees all the way from Auckland to LAX last time and still managed to get 6 solid hours of sleep... think I could handle it...

You'll have a brilliant time... only thing I can remember about the flight was despite it being Qantas, there was no western meal on the flight... really tough for the kids... so check that if you haven't just in case. Only remembered that this week when my BFF ( who is going to Anaheim on Wednesday - without me!) was checking what meals were going to be available for her kids online.

We're flying DeathStar - I mean JETstar so we don't have any meals provided. We'll be buying lunch when we stopover in Cairns and we'll be taking a LOT of snacks on board with it. Ben's a grazer so he's constantly eating. Jared doesn't really eat anything yet so we'll have to see how he goes over the coming months.

Actually Mel, thats probably better in the long run to take your own snacks, that way you know you have something to eat. We only had lollies that we'd planned to nibble on take off and the kids soon made short work of those... they just weren't into the 'fishy and raw' things that were on offer.

Hehe - I have to say, last time we flew to Japan on Qantas, they did have western and Japanese food (thankfully...as Della has a very westernised palate!)

They had the option when we flew to Tokyo in 2006 too, but the smell still almost made me sick. Mind you I was suffering awful morning sickness anyway.

My wife spent the year buying up all the "Tin" set Disney DVDs that I did not have. I opened up about 14 individual pakages -/ and was amazed that she could find them all!!! Now I have the entire set
