What day are you flying down Keith?
Della and I are flying down Friday night after work.

We want to see Titanic as well. I think we'll probably see Titanic on Saturday morning then go shopping in the afternoon. I don't think we'll get to Tim!

Have added a few more things on my wish list while we are in Melbourne and interestingly they all relate to food - Lord of the Fries (gourmet hot chips), Spanish Doughnuts (huge menu of sweet and savoury churros) and Smorgys (themed restaurant like Rainforest Cafe). But I guess if I don't get to all them I'll have to schedule them to the next trip for the art exhibition. -/

Just a random question...

I know we had to book by Dec last year, but what are the chances of going along on this club trip? too late to book it perhaps? I was going to go when I was to go to Vic for my cousins wedding but am now reconsidering that trip and I don't want to miss out on seeing the show.

Jus thought I'd ask.

Hi Lisa - we would love for you to come along - but I guess you'd have to book the show ticket and accommodation yourself for that evening's performance.

I just checked the MP website and here is the ticket availability for the September 11 8:00pm session:
Premium Alloc. Exhausted
A Reserve Stalls Single seats only
A Reserve Dress Single seats only
A Reserve Grand Single seats only
B Reserve Stalls Alloc. Exhausted
B Reserve Grand Available
C Reserve Stalls Alloc. Exhausted

Hello everyone - we'll be booking the Mary Poppins dinner on Wednesday. Once everything is confirmed, I'll let you know the venue (which we haven't yet picked - so now is your time to nominate your favourite Melbourne restaurants!)

Hi everyone - we are booked in for dinner on Saturday evening at 5pm.

The restaurant is:
Mrs Parma's
25 Little Bourke St

It's just a short walk from the theatre. It serves lots of different parmagianas, schnitzels, burgers, fish and chips etc etc. A good range for a large group of people and reasonable prices too. See: http://www.mrsparmas.com.au/index.asp They also have their own little micro-brewery :D

Can't wait to see you all in Melbourne on September 11!

I'ved booked to see the Titanic Exhibition on Friday at 2.30pm as there were no online tickets available for the weekend and only 3 sessions left on the Friday. There may be tickets at the door but I'd rather be certain.

Nuts! That rules us out :(

Looks like we'll have to see Tim Burton now instead.

I managed to get Saturday morning Titanic tickets through Qantas Box Office. They are a major sponsor and still had limited numbers of tickets for Saturday morning available. Now I'm a happy camper :D

Can't wait to get to Melbourne on Friday - this coming weekend is going to be great fun!

I also checked out the Mary Poppins merchandise for Melbourne - it appears to be exactly the same set that was available in New York last year, so we aren't missing out on anything - and the prices look reasonable as well.

Don't forget dinner on Saturday night at 5pm.

Looking at the weather forecast it doesn't appear that Spring has arrived in Melbourne yet
