Sad news

Just to let you know my Mum passed away yesterday. She went in for a knee replacement mid-May and had a delirium as a response to the anaesthetic due to early stage dementia and then after a fall in hospital about 6 weeks ago she had to have a hip replacement which was the beginning of the end. She turned 80 last week.

Unfortunately as well my brother (55), who I have had responsibility for since mid-last year, is unconscious in a nursing home and unlikely to recover (alcohol-related liver failure). Looks like I'll be planning 2 funerals within a short period of time.
