Well, we finally did it - booked our next Disney trip(s!)

We went online to book our California trip for June next year, and in the process also discovered the prices for flights to Hong Kong over New Year had dropped due to a Qantas sale, so booked HK too!

Here is the basic details.

Trip 1
Depart Sydney on 29 Dec for Hong Kong.
Stay at the Disneyland Hotel for five nights.
Return to Sydney on 3 Jan 2012.

This way we get to see the Christmas celebration and have New Year inside a Disney Park.
Flights and hotel have been booked for this one.

Trip 2
Depart Sydney on 3 June for LAX then flight direct LAX - SFO.
Hire a car and stay three nights in San Francisco - visiting the Walt Disney museum etc.
Spend a few days driving down the coast road to Anaheim - get to Anaheim on the 9 June.
Depart Anaheim/LAX on Sunday 17 June.
Flights and Anaheim hotel (the Carousel) is booked - we'll do the rest as we get closer.

Appropriate tickers have been created
Just 109 sleeps to go to Hong Kong!

Hi everyone - I was just updating the Club Member Travel post (see here: http://www.dudisneyana.info/forum/viewt ... 1647#p9788) and I was wondering if anyone else had some firm dates to give me. Lisa, do you have dates for Disneyland in July?

It is awesome to see how many trips we've done since I started to track them back in 2009 - we've hit 40 completed trips and that doesn't count everyone from the Club - it is mainly those of us who are active here on the forum.

We are going to TDR in two weeks (DL hotel )

In July 2013 we are visiting DL Paris on route to our Mediterranean Disney Cruise - WooHoo! So excited...DH had said "No more Disney until Shanghai opens" but he didn't really mean it--lol.

Keith, I'm heading over on the 14th September for a couple of 'pre-group' days in Anahiem and then meeting up with Sandie and a group of her friends/family in Vegas on the 16th for a few days.
Then we all head back to Anaheim visiting every known theme park in the city,shopping, baseball, shopping, lots of DISNEYLAND -/ and a day shopping in Mexico, until 1st October when I will fly back with the group.

This will be my first 'commando' style trip so the blog will either be short, sweet and to the point due to lack of time or a tome on the perils of group travel...

I will say at this point.. that Sandie's trip organizational skills are superior to regular human beings and it is going to be an AMAZING trip. The regular trip newsletter alone is worth it

We won't have dates for next year until September. The lack of dates is killing me! I can't plan ANYTHING yet!

The newsletter is an inch thick tome with everything from menus of all the places we'll be eating to how to pack and an upcoming article by moi about how to gamble in a casino... which is funny cos I've only ever been inside one.

I have to say, this amazing newsletter must take a gargantuan effort to get out each time... kudos to Sandie for her efforts.

I forgot to mention that I heard from Wayne on Sunday after he and Jennifer returned safely from their trip.

Cannot wait to hear all about Paris Disneyland at the next club meeting.
