Just booked the Best Western plus Park Inn Anaheim for our December trip
Oh thats a great spot, I stayed there last time too.... very convenient. And I'd probably book that one again next time too.

Some great trips on the horizon Beth -/

Qantas have a sale on this week - up until 9 May anyway. There are some great prices for flights to Disney locations:

Economy return to:
Hong Kong - $798 ($1598 Premium Econ)
Tokyo - $999
LAX - $1249 ($3099 Premium Econ)
Orlando - $1654

These flights are available up until 25 March 2014 for selected dates, but you have to book in the next few days! That Hong Kong price is very tempting for me :D

Feeling incredibly decadent but have just booked a quick trip to Valencia Spain to visit Jacob in November. My sister Glenda is joining me and we will only be there 8 nights before returning to Oz but I don't care!

I really didn't want to miss the opportunity of seeing his new hometown while he is there and he is very excited to show us around and feed us paella, churros and the local favourite drink horchata in which you dip fartons!

I had trouble finding any time to squeeze the trip in given all of Angus's HSC and end of school activities. As it is I will be back only 3 days before my US trip!

While not a Disney trip I will ensure to have my photo taken outside of Valencia's 2 Disney stores!

LOL! This is fantastic - good on you Beth. I fully subscribe to the "spend it while you got it (or as long as the bank is willing to lend it)" mantra! I'd love to see Valencia as it has always looked brilliant when the Formula One races were held there.

Woo Hoo... I'm off to Disneyland again... well maybe only one day, but I'll still be in my happy place for a little bit.

Yesterday Miss M had notification she had won a short trip to Hollywood and she told me I could go with her -/

So I don't know any dates or specifics yet, but I can guarantee that I'll be making sure I get one day on hallowed ground. We're hoping to extend the trip a little to do a few more things, but not sure if they'll allow it yet. When I have a date, I'll add a ticker :)

Thanks :) She just entered a comp online that she wanted to win makeup from :) Somehow she won the grand prize - it was open to both Australia and the US so its unbelievable that she won. On the same day she won two Wolverine prize packs with T-shirts and watches and a set of Peter Alexander PJ's and a big pack of Essie nail polishes as well... The prizes just kept coming all day. I had my fingers crossed for a car by dinner time... but no, that didn't happen :)

I've already been told in no uncertain terms that its not a Disney trip ... and I know the prize accom component is only 3 nights so we're hoping to extend it a little to take in DLR/DCA and she wants to go to the La Breya (?) tar pits... where ever that is. She also wants to hit all the shopping outlets that I went to last time so shopping will be high on her agenda. I think I can live with that ;)

Wow - she cleaned up on that competition! That is great.

I've never been to the tar pits, but I do remember them from Arnold Schwarznegger's "Last Action Hero" - does that count? (hehehe)

I can't imagine that the tar pits are my #1 go to place, but a friend of mine visited them some years back and she brought a 'fossil' buried in a lump of clay for Miss M to dig out, and that was it, she has wanted to see them ever since. I guess thats how an archeologist-in-training's brain works... personally, I'll be keen to just get to Disney :)

The trip we got engaged on was one that I actually won :) It was a trip to Montreal for the comedy festival. The person who I organised it through was fantastic. I added a week in LA on the way through with no problem whatsoever. I hope you guys get the same treatment.

That's awesome Mel, :) was that your trip to Canada?

I'm hoping the same but we're yet to hear from them since we found out a week ago so we're hoping they get in touch soon. We're hoping to add a week as well...I've been playing the 'Disney card' often to get her used to spending more than a day in the parks ;)
