I thought I'd start a new thread for post trip discussions since the current trip thread is getting a bit long and there is bound to be lots of questions aimed that those who went once they get back.

In the interest of starting the discussion (even though they aren't back just yet)...so how was it guys?

Still been hanging around here, keeping the software up to date and keeping the spammers under control (a full time job on it's own), just haven't been posting for a while. Should be posting a bit more for a little while.

I have a burning question - did anyone get film of the Shiriki idol vanishing in the study of the Hotel Hightower in Tokyo Disneysea, and can anyone explain how they do it ???

Actually i figured it out - all the regular boys are O/S (Keith, Gerard) and until recently it was just us girls posting -scared you'd be roped into a scrapbooking discussion probably!

I got another email from someone wanting details of the trip that can really only be offered by someone who was there, so if someone can send a quick reply to Tony when the get a chance...

Here's the message:

Hello Down Under Disneyana Club,
I am the webmaster of This Day in Disney History (http://thisdayindisneyhistory.com).
I recently read about 6 of your members taking a trip around the world to visit every Disney theme park. They might be the first to ever have done such a trip and I would like to include them on my website (such as the day they left, the days they hit each park, etc). When they return, I was wondering if any of them can be contacted through your wonderful site? Or if this message could be passed along to any of them - I would appreciate it & would surely place a link to the Down Under Disneyana Club on my site. Thanks for your time, Tony

Wow - there appears to be a lot of interest in this trip

Well, we are still here in Anaheim and our internet access time is pretty limited, but we are heading home this coming weekend - so early next week I'll reply in more detail from home about all different aspects of this trip! Look out for some lengthy posts then!

I could not film in the Tokyo TOT past the lobby. I rode it about 8 times and I can't figure out how they did it.
I did get a few great things from the attraction including a small copy of the Shiriki idol

We just got home and are now getting over jet lag. Come back to the site each day over the next two weeks as we update with reports, highlights about the trip.

Seriously though, I've spent the last 6 hours straight typing stuff. Needed to take a break but the overview report that Wayne and I began on the plane on Saturday is coming along nicely. I'll pass it to Wayne in the next couple of days so he can add/edit stuff. Tomorrow, I'll play around with our photos and begin posting some online by Thursday.

Okay, this is not a report yet, but a small note to let you know that pictures are in the process of being uploaded!!

I've had to reduce and compress them so the quality isn't always great - but they are a good taste of what we saw! Enjoy.
