This meeting's theme is TV Game Shows - that's right, you may get the chance to participate for prizes in a TV Game Show - Disney themed of course!

Actually, had I thought about it a little more, I probably could have.

When they changed my rosters around recently to accomodate a death in one of my workmates family, I ended up having to miss my cousins wedding but the upshot was that I have had a three day weekend this weekend - which I can't remember when I last had... I always work on the weekend. The most recent changes all happened so fast though, that I didn't even consider that I was going to have the time to do a quick trip to Sydney.

Instead, today I've been to the ANZAC march in the morning then spent the balmy afternoon on the beach with friends, and then helped a friend pack some boxes to move house in a couple of days. I'm going out again in a little while but I wish I was in Sydney so I could catch up with everyone and hear about Sandie and Eli's trip in person. I would love to be taking part in the games night tonight. -/

It was a fun night but the "studio audience" (read Keith and Della) that was surveyed for the most popular answers was a bit dodgy (I probably thought it was dodgy because my family feud team - The Incredibles - lost by only 2 points!)

Keith did a superb Toby Barber entrance in his shiny coat and husky voice.

Sandi and Eli showed us their Japanese booty and Barry and Narelle gave us a detailed review of their trip to HKDL - just makes you want to start planning

I also noted that the temperature was dropping - why is that hall so cold? Well it should be the right temperature for the Christmas in June meeting. -/

I was also surprised by this - however I refer you all to the official Disney Archives website run by Dave Smith, and you will see that the Queen of Hearts is not listed as an "official" Disney Villain. Don't blame me

Other notable villain absences are The Beagle Boys from Donald Duck cartoons, Clayton from Tarzan, Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove.

In hindsight, we'd probably make up the lists ourselves rather than rely on websites and downloads. The characters starting with "B" list had some notable absences - including Bambi and Basil (we didn't notice those missing until you started yelling them out!).

As for the Family Feud lists - I'm not going to tell you how we did those surveys - I guess it just comes down to how odd your survey people are!

Also, we still have the Wheel of Fortune game to play, which I think is the better one to play - you can't have any controversy with WoF! (Unless I get a quote wrong!). I think we'll save the WoF game for the August theme park meeting.

By the way, I'm completely voiceless today I hope you all don't get sick too!
