it was so lovely to see you all last night...i have missed the last two meetings so it was nice to get back.....

Sandie...did i miss out on a news letter at the end of last year? the one where i wrote my trip report for it? i cant remember if i got it or not
I have no holidays planned to disney for a while....how depressing...i will just have to live through all your adventures!

It was excellent to see everyone last night! What a crowd - I never even got around to everyone for a chat! :)

Anthony - your map was spectacular!

Jess - it was great we were able to meet Matilda and Murray.

Gerard - your walking, talking Wall-E was brilliant!

Can't wait for the next meeting - it is the TV-Game Show night - see you all there!

Sandie, I filled Angus in on your surprise as we drove off in the car last night and his response was "Why don't you do something like that for me?" and I said "How do you know I'm not?" He gave me a look that showed he knew me better than that, then I gently reminded him of the trip I took him on only 4 months ago! It seems as a mother you are only as good as the next trip you are planning. That makes me an empty shell :cry:

Yes Beth, as I said to Sandie last night she has set the bench mark very high.

How will the parents of Eloise's friends come up with something better than what she has for a birthday present?

Maybe it will be something she loves this year but i bet in a year or two I am an embarrassment to here and she hates me until she is 21!!!!!!

They turn very quickly. My 16 year old turned over the Christmas holidays into this snarling, spitting creature! I think it was getting his L's! This too shall pass and then we can take holidays without them - just ask Lisa - I have already managed it once to HKDL. -/

yep, I know that moment... only its not my son that I have snarling and spitting.... girls are worse.

yep, I am living, breathing proof that 'without kids' holidays are doable.... and extremely enjoyable. :wink:
