Next Meeting - September 6

Hello everyone.

The next meeting for the Down Under Disneyana Club will be on September 6. The theme for this meeting is "It's in the BAG"

That's right - we want to see all your Disney bags from around the world.

Have you got plastic bags from Tokyo, WDW, Paris, Hong Kong, Anaheim, Disney on Ice, New York Musicals, The Disney Stores, DisneyQuest, The Disney Channel?

Have you got Disney hand bags, shoulder bags, back packs, bum bags, roller suitcases?

Have you got any special event bags like a Grand Opening backpack, a Disney movie premiere bag or something similar?

Then bring them along - we want to see the designs, the colours, and your stories behind them!

So dig into your cupboard (come on, we all know that you haven't thrown them out!) and bring them along.

See you all there. Remember, it is on September 6!

Damn the elections!!! That is my little sister Sara's 18th birthday (remember that cute kid that used to come to the meetings with me before I dragged Eli along?). So I won't be at the meeting but maybe I can arrange to give the newsletters to someone? Anthony?

Also Beth can you let Wayne know that I am still happy to help with the Adventureland night and that I have a wicked idea for a new club board game.

And I guess in my absence you will all get some easy trivia questions.......

Speaking of old bags, my sister Glenda bought my mother a handbag when she went to Disneyland in 1976 and she still has it! There is nothing Disney about it but it was bought in th park!

I'll be there! I've spent all morning going through cupboards looking for bags. I've also recorded new trailers - HSM3, Bolt, Beverley Hills Chihuahua, The Princess and the Frog.

In the process of looking for bags, I also found all my old Disney on Ice and Broadway musical programs, so I thought I'd bring them along for the heck of it.
