Not so sure about that... its really cold up here as well... it'd have to be as low as 12 or 13 degrees.. actually, it might even get down to single digits overnight Thats freezing in my book. I think I'll need one of those St Bernard dogs (with the little barrel of medicinal warmer around his neck )if it gets any colder.

Yep - that's why the meeting at this time of year is during the daytime.

I remember the old hall we used to be in (before it got eaten by termites and had to be torn down) - it only had a small bar radiator - now that place was really REALLY cold - and the toilets were of the outhouse variety - complete with redbacks and other things that you didn't get to see under the power of the 20-watt light bulb - ah...good times, good times

Last night's meeting was one of the best attended day time meetings I've been to in a long time. It was great to see so many folks last night.

And Jess' talk on being a cast member and travelling on the Disney Cruise was awesome - Thanks Jess!!! She also showed some of her loot she purchased over there - the Alice teapot was too cool (I like Alice too, in fact, I've probably had more photos taken with Alice than the princesses!)

I've been waiting with baited breath all day - I had to have the day off cos I couldn't go to work thanks to a contact lens malfunction ( its still lodged behind my eyeball )

Actually, it doesn't hurt at all, its just that one eye is like I'm looking through gladwrap, which adds dimension to the driving experience.

I still have to front up to the optometrist tomorrow before work to have it fished out.

And you know the best part?

They say that the camera adds 10 lbs but according to those photos of me I appear to have lost the couple of kg's that attached themselves to me in America ( land of the supersize portions).

Gotta be happy with that.
