As another Queenslander who travels down to Sydney for the occasional meeting I think I can answer that one.

The answer would have to be a resounding....."YEP" :D

Meeting who I am talking to has made this so much more fun. I was talking to another new DUD member up here on Friday night who has many years of Disney enthusiasm to share ( Morning Tinkerbelle :), it was lovely to meet you finally, and I hope you jump into the chats here as well ) and I'm sure she'd really enjoy the 'in real life version' of the DUD too.

The meetings are great fun, make my Disney experience richer and I wish I could afford to attend more often.

Awww...I feel warm and fuzzy inside...(must've been last night's curry) :D

Seriously Marc, the meetings are good fun - especially the event meetings such as the annual theme nights in November, or when special Disney guests are on the cards. But I love the normal meetings too - they are a great opportunity to discuss Disney events, look at new merchandise people have, enjoy trivia and group activities. Our next meeting will be in May and will have a heavy Tokyo anniversary influence.

Our normal meetings usually go from around 7:30 - 9:30 (or a little later). Special meetings can be quite a bit longer - 5:00 - 9:30 or so, including dinner.

So, if you are in the area on a meeting weekend, come in and say hello!
Keith

I just meant it was fun going to the meetings in Sydney, and that it was worth traveling down from QLD to join in.

I haven't heard anyone called a bozo in a loooong time.....
