Well, we are all safely back now - and I'm tired too, just flew in this morning but the flight was pretty good. Della, me, Wayne and Jennifer shared a row of seats on the plane.

Still catching up with emails etc, expect some lengthy reports over the coming days. Wayne and I put together a big sheet of highlights, must see attractions, pros and cons of all the resorts (except Tokyo - hey Gerard, guess who'll get that job!) and I'll type up those notes and begin posting later this week - thankfully I'm not going back to work until next Monday!

Catch you all soon.
Keith

I have posted a few photos on the site in the members section.
I am now going through all the video I took. I did a bad thing and filmed over my best stuff including the studio tour right before we went into the archives. I am so disapointed as I will never get to go in there again

Well, never mind - at least we actually did go there (and I do have a picture of you walking into the Frank G Wells Building - at least it is the back of your head!)

Also, any who lives in Sydney and gets the MX newspaper in the afternoon - check today's (17 Oct) Travel and Escape section - there is a full page article on our club's trip around the world.

If you don't have a copy, you can read the USA Today version of the article here:
http://www.usatoday.com/travel/destinat ... htm?csp=34

Also - I just discovered this one by accident - this is today's Washington Post:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 00859.html
It is the press release about serving healthier foods in Disneyland, but it features our photo!

I had a request at the Saturday night meeting for some hi-res versions of my castle photos (hi Barry and Julie :) ).

I've now added these to my photo gallery here:

Bye for now :)

I've received an email asking for some information in connection to the Parks trip so I'm posting it here in case anyone can help.

This is an enquiry e-mail via http://dudisneyana.info from:
Nadine Miltier

Would like any info you could share about how to get a 'round-the-world' airfare so my husband and I could see all the Disney parks like you guys. We are going to see my son in the AF in Japan and I'm thinking we may as well try to see the other Disney Parks at the same time if it would work out. Thank you.

The around the world airfares are pretty easy to obtain, most travel agents will be able to supply details.

We obtained a One World partner airline around the world ticket. One World partner airlines are all tier one (ie. full service airlines) such as Qantas, Cathay Pacific, American Airlines etc.

It is pretty easy to sit down with a travel agent and let them know what you want to do. They'll explain around-the-world ticket rules etc (and you don't have to buy from them, just get a quote and pick their brains, then see if you can get it cheaper online, but if their service is good, book with them.)
