Pirates Club Event Saturday 1st July 2006

This event is coming together and will be a great day. Plan now to take part in this fun club event. More detailed news to come over the next few weeks.

I'm seriously thinking of it - I do like doing pirate impersonations (ahhh me hearties...) and Della and I have dressed up before (not for this club though - we went to a gangster birthday and it was awesome.)

I'll let you know in a couple of weeks how I'm going in obtaining a costume...

Maybe I will dye my hair red and whenever I walk past you all can yell "we wants the red head" - then again maybe not!

I think dressing up for the Pirates meeting would be a hoot. I have quite an array of dressups - Ok, minds out of the gutter people - I still have a few costumes left from my Party Shop - I've probably got some pirate stuff left if I dug through the boxes in storage. Am toying with the idea of going if I can get the time off work to trek up to Sydney.

Go ahead and dye your hair red if you want to Sandie, maybe I'll do the same and they can yell out "we wants the two red heads".

After I begged and pleaded (and trained up the new girl at work, so she can cover for me....) I'VE BEEN GIVEN THE WEEKEND OF THE 'PIRATES' MEETING OFF WORK ....

.......Now which colour busitiere should I wear - and a million other things to work out before I start packing... But its looking good.

I only found out our rosters today, so lots of details to work out but I'm sure it'll be fun.

Of course I will expect veto rights to any photos with me in them......

I think that the best idea would be if all the photos were sent to me and then I could edit them and put the best ones up on the site. The worst ones would be kept in a private vault until I could figure out the best use for them.
