DUD Monthly Scrap Challenges

Ok scrappers, here it is....

The Inaugural DUD Monthly Scrapping Challenge

It being the first one we'll give you an extra week to get your project done and make this first challenge run from today until midnight on October 31st.

The challenge is open to all members of DUDisneyana.

I"ll set up a new album in the scrappers section of the gallery and any projects for the challenge can be emailed to me and I'll upload them. Please make sure your name and title of the project or page are also submitted with the photo. Add a brief description of products or the Who/what/where if you wish.
Please put "DUD Monthly Challenge" in the subject line of your email.

The challenge requirements will appear in this thread at the start of each month posted by either myself or Sandie.

OCTOBER CHALLENGE:

We'll make this an easy one to start with.

Disney cards... Halloween, Christmas, Birthday, anything, just so long as it has a Disney theme.

Feel free to submit more than one project.

Ok people, show us your Disney scrapping style....

Hi Jess, yep, this month is Disney cards - halloween, birthday, Christmas, anything..... and your cards are great

I'll be setting up the album in the gallery on my day off and will post your cards there. I especially love the mickey one - I'm going to C.A.S.E that one (Copy And Steal Everything - for the non-scrappers).

Looking forward to seeing your cards too Sandie.
I've done a couple as well - can't believe I started with a princess card

I'm working on some Christmas cards to put in the challenge at the moment.

thanks for getting involved.... there must be some more scrappers out there that can whip up a card or two....

) but I'm in the process of writing a newsletter article (as well as other important things, like playing computer games involving lots of violence!)

I believe they were actually your words Keith.... I just borrowed them from one of your earlier forays into the secret womens business that is scrapbooking.

Nope... not good enough.... I am doing that too and played at least one level of a violent computer game and still managed to make several cards.

But scrapbooking can be violent - what if two women want the same bit of bazzil and its the last one? or someone eats the last bit of chocolate?

I actually saw such atrocities recently.... do not get between a scrapper and the perfect embellishment - its not worth the blood.

Yep, thats the grimy underbelly of the scrapping world....

I'm thinking ....Paris in the spring time?

Course Della might have something to say about that....

And about the unleashing of mass carnage... I started out on my Atari in the early 80's playing ateroids/spacies all night and haven't looked back from there.... I have a perchant for blowing things up with the press of a button.
Sad but true.
Playing PS2 on a home theatre set up is just wicked by the way.

So how is that card coming along?

The DUD Scrap Challenge Gallery is now open for business.

So far there are cards by myself and Jess (alice in wonderland) and we'd love to see others take part.

Just email me photos of your cards with OCTOBER DUD Scrap challenge in the subject line and I will upload them into the gallery.
Product info or a brief description can also be added if you wish.

Very nice cards! Ok maybe tonight I will get left alone long enough to do something - Tuesday is always a good night - 2 hours of Simpsons and Futurama to occupy the rest of my family!

I had to think twice about using him cos he's the only one I have had. He has feathers and all

I've had him in my stash for ages.

So Sandie, got your thinking cap on for the next challenge? Your choice next I do believe.

Have you started your trip scrapping yet?

I've done heaps of Disney ones in the last couple of months. I might upload some tomorrow if I get a chance. I just never seem to get much closer to the finish of that album.

probably because I agonise over each and every page.
I've also finally finished the mini book from the POTC meeting last year.

Third - I have completed about 7 layouts but 1 is of a non Disney event!

Fourth - hows that article coming?

wow.... thats amazing. And your pages are intricate too so thats some feat. Better put some in your 2007 folder. I'd love to see them.
