Okay okay - it is that time of year again!

Who's going to Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes this year?

That's right, Della has booked our tickets, she obviously had to twist my arm to get me to go ;) (second row seats so she could see them better...)

Yes, it is that time of the year for high-priced merchandise and paying an extra dollar for the shopping bag! But at least the programs are usually great and the shows are too. I can't wait :D

We've got Sydney tickets for July 25.

I'm not sure about this one. I usually really enjoy these shows, but the theme this year, I must say, just doesn't speak to me. The kids may nag and drag me along, but I don't think I'll be making the effort this year.

funny how we just keep going anyway and fighting our way through the wall of toddlers to be up the front. And having just been in SA where you have to pay at least a dollar for ANY shopping bag ANYWHERE - grrrr ( they are now banned) I will be quite happy to pay for one that has something Disney on it.
I'm keen to go - got my VIP notice a while ago but didn't do anything about it yet... not even sure when its is on in Brizzy yet... HEY... I haven't missed it have I? hmmmm .... think I better take a look , I missed out last year because of mum's funeral so I really want to go this year... even if it is Princesses.

Yup, we've got our tickets for the 23rd :) It's just me, Craig and the boys this year. Can't afford to keep taking my niece and nephew, especially since they now have a younger sister. So, me and three boys are going to look at the pretty princesses. Yeah, I definitely do it for the kids  I'm contemplating wearing my tiara, or my princess hat (you know those pointing ones with ribbons out the top?) from Disneyland if I can find it!

My teenage boys would rather have their mother enter Australian Idol!

I would rather watch you on Australian Idol. The only part I enjoyed last year (my first time) was when Simba dropped Nala on her head. I just don't get the appeal.

wish I'd thought of that. -/

I'm so not into princesses, but I have missed two 'on ice' things now so I am going to just have to suck it up and rest easy in the knowledge that where there are princesses there are bound to be princes...

Stop me if you've heard this one... no wait you can't....about 10 years ago I won a competition, Win a Jeanie for a year. Apart from a years supply of pizza, a kmart voucher, a cleaner and a gardener for a year, we won tickets to Aladdin on Ice (now that one sounds like a drink). Anyway the point of my bragging is that we had front row seats and Jafar came up to Jacob who was about 5 and scared the proverbial out of him. He spent the rest of the show skating past us every chance he could and apologising in the way that Disney characters do with over-sized heads.

Just back from Princess Wishes. We had three drops in the show we saw, a lot of them didn't really look into it at all. I was a bit disappointed with it, it didn't seem as slick as all the previous shows I've seen. The most interesting part of the show was the dragon in the Sleeping Beauty bit.

The best part of the day was when I walked past the churro stand before we went in. The smell sent me straight to Disneyland :D I had to have one after that and as I sat munching on it in our seats, the show began and so did the tears. I'm blaming the hormones from breastfeeding, but boy do I need a Disney fix soon!

Next year it's "Disney on Ice, Disneyland Adventure". Looks like it will have Baloo and the gang (Jungle Cruise), Incredibles, Stitch, Alice and the usual Fab Five.

Oh and it looked like there will be Pirates!!!!
