Did I mention that I will be within 'shaking hands' distance of Mickey Mouse?
OMG OMG OMG - you are so lucky! Good on ya Lisa - and you know that you may actually get to shake hands with him?!! After the show, the characters usually come to the edge of the ice to shake hands with people - so when the show finishes, get up and get close!!! (and push the little kiddies out of the way - you have to be a mercenary!)

You mean I might really get to touch Mickey Mouse?

COOL

.......but being a mother myself, I couldn't really push the 'little kiddies' - I'll just beat them there in the first place!

Oh........ and the PHOTOS!!!!!!!!:D

I CAN'T WAIT! \:D/

Would you believe our work social club got sent 4 free tickets with our order an I turned them down because I thought we would be on holidays visiting my dad. And then the stupid football draw gets updated and we are leaving a week later now! What a waste!!!

FANTASTIC!!!!! \:D/ \:D/
I'm so glad you enjoyed it - I love going every year and I'm really looking forward to this year!

I've got all the programs from all the times I've been (I just have to collect them!) and really can't wait for the weeks to count down.

So Lisa, did they come over to the side to shake hands after the show?

Sandie, I think there are still tickets available - you might have to sit up high though.

So who's going to see the show at the Entertainment Centre in the city?

Sorry Mike - I'm going to the Superdome...we used to always go to the Entertainment Centre, but as we are premium Ticketek customers, and Ticketek only do Superdome now - not the Entertainment Centre, we only get advanced ticketing on the Homebush venue. :(

I prefer the EC as you can spend the whole day in the City - whereas there is nothing to do out at Olympic Park - but as we get to purchase our tickets months earlier and get really good seats - well, that's the price we pay. :-({|=

Yep, I had to splurge and buy the program too. But I would pass on the "Disney flavoured snow cone". (Yuck)
So Lisa, did they come over to the side to shake hands after the show?
Yep. I did as I promised and lept up to the rink - successfully beating out a few kiddies.

And did I shake Mickeys hand ?......YOU BET I DID! and I high5-ed Donald and squeezed Li Shangs hand for good measure.

Great Show. Wasn't going to tell you this but, OK  , the princesses were fantastic!

And one of the skater/performers FELL OVER by accident - so it evidently does happen sometimes! #-o

Yay - I saw it today and it was probably the best Disney on Ice I have ever seen.

I liked that it was a lot of short sequences, rather than just a couple of long acts. And for the first time I can remember - there were no Dwarfs (I was sick of them!)

Princesses were great :)

I also liked the references to Disneyland and It's a Small World - including the Main Street Electrical Parade reference in the IASW sequence (all those light bulbs and the music!)

We had a great crowd - no talking kids, no screaming kids, no kids kicking my chair, no kids in our row always getting up to go to the bathroom - it was perfect for once! :D

Well done to all and we can't wait for Finding Nemo on Ice next year!

So did you get the program and the snow cone with the bonus twisty straw, Keith? :)

Glad you enjoyed it, I thought it was great too.

Did anyone fall over?

Hi Lisa, got the program but not the snow cone. Della got a band-leader Minnie Mouse as well.

We had a couple of falls during our presentation, but they were so quick I almost missed them - that is a first for the shows we've been to. They weren't even on the big jumps, just little slips. We all clapped though.

Our crowd was really into it - we all got up and sang the Mickey Mouse club song - sounded really cool!

Has anyone taken a look at the new Australian Disney on Ice (Nemo) site?

Looks like its going to be a good show.
I admit it.... I'm a convert... I'll be going to the Brisbane show for sure.
:D

Theres a video of what to expect, and it looks fantastic.
For those of us who have to have some kind of momento from a show, there is a page of the merchandise that will be available too.

Can't wait..... :D

(:) was in a 'colouring-in mood'.... sorry.)

Thanks Lisa - nice find...I didn't see this the other day.

http://www.disneyonice-asia.com/nemo/nemo.html

I can't wait - these shows are always top quality.

I checked out the merchandise too - there appears to be way more for this show than I have seen before - I love the seagull...I guess I'll be buying that for Della! :D

It occured to me that I hadn't ever gotten around to putting some of my photos from the last show in my album like I said I was going to.

They're not flash, but they're finally there. :)
