Churros shop opens!

For anybody who is a fan of "churros" and lives in Sydney, a new store has opened in the Rouse Hill town centre. It's called Casa De Churros and is giving away free samples of churros, complete with chocolate dipping sauce. Have not been there to try them ourselves, but thought that somebody else may be interested.

Will be interesting to see how it goes. There is a shop in Melbourne at Flinders St Station that sells churros (chocolate covered though), and I was wondering if there were more around the country when I saw that one. It may be starting! (Better not tell my youngest, she costs us a fortune on churros when we visit the parks).

You might have guessed by my forum name that I'm a bit partial to the odd churros. But given my Elle McPherson-type figure I do try to avoid them. But it is so hard with a "San Churros" 10 minutes away and a South American cake shop 15 minutes away that pipes caramel down the centre of their churros.
