Chicken Little

Well, I've seen Chicken Little and I have to admit to being a little disappointed even though it took over $40 mill USD over the last weekend.

It's not without its charms and there were a couple of parts that I laughed out loud at, which is a rarity for me, but I don't see it as "saving Disney" in quite the same way that The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast did.

I'm hestitant to give too much away at the moment so I'll just leave it open to questions or discussion as everyone else sees fit.

A mate of mine from work just returned from the US, as was staying at a hotel in West Hollywood and went down to the El Capitan for the premier of Chicken Little. He has photos of the crowds and the stars arriving, so if I can get copies off him, I'll post them here.

He didn't get to see the film though, but at least he saw the opening day :)

I'll wait to it hits the cinema here in December. I'd be really interested to see it in the new Disney Digital 3D presentation - I've heard it changes it from an 'okay' movie into a 'pretty good' movie.

3D would certainly make a difference. Are they showing it that way here and if they are will it be in "selected theatres" or everywhere?

I wonder what effect it will have on DVD sales not being able to see it in 3D at home?

I stand by my earlier comments above - the 3D version has made an okay movie into a pretty good movie!

I enjoyed the 3D projection version, go see it Calisota and see if it changes your opinion of the movie.

If I ever manage to get any time off work and it's still around I'll be trying. :( It's a busy time of the year unfortunately.
