For some reason I don't get excited about the previews, however I am definitely looking forward to the movie and will certainly be seeing it at the cinema.  My goddaughter was trying to tell me all about it however the only bit I remember is Elsa's patronus is a horse (sorry, a Harry Potter reference).

I thought of the patronus too when I saw the trailer...

I think it'll be tough for the sequel to really meet the expectations set by the first film - which is why we never really had many cinematic sequels to the Disney classics, these movies usually stand on their own legacy and I sort of wish that was the case for Frozen as well.

I wonder about that as I enjoy the one-off movies just as much. This year seems to be the year of the remake and sequel - of course I am enjoying them still.  Frozen was so popular and still is in so many ways.  I'm having more trouble with the speed at which the movies are coming out this year, seems to be a lot in a short space of time.

Yeah - Della was saying the same thing.  It is like Disney is the only studio making blockbuster movies now and they have a regular production line of them.  I feel like they are just one movie from bursting the bubble though - will people suddenly just start saying "Oh no, not another Disney movie!"??
We still have the Lion King remake, another Maleficent movie, Star Wars, on top of all those others we've had this year...then we'll be getting Mulan, The Little Mermaid, The Jungle Cruise etc...it never stops!

Maybe that's a side effect of taking over other studios, they end up with so many movies that are in production or about to start.

Finally saw the trailer last night and agree with the previous comments about it looking much darker than the original.  Looks good though, I'm sure I'll be there!!

It opened here on Thursday so I went along to the first showing.

I won't say anything about the story for the benefit of those yet to see it but I will say...

Just when you think the animation can't get much better they do this! It looks amazing!!

Saw this yesterday and really enjoyed it. Loved the music and the storyline held up well on its own and thankfully didn't feel like they were just making a sequel for the money.  I will say it was kind of easy to see where certain things would lead - that doesn't detract though as these are technically aimed for children and there were plenty of laughs along the way.  All the characters have been allowed to grow up since the first movie, even little Olaf, without losing their loveable qualities.

A great sequel from all involved.
