Yeah - I saw this mentioned the other day and to be honest, it had never crossed my mind!
Maybe I'm a little slow...I'll need to watch the movie again now

The first time I watched it I thought "Oh, Robin Williams is voicing this guy, something is going to happen". But then nothing did so I thought I must have been mistaken. On each subsequent viewing I got more and more convinced it was him but still nothing happened with the character.
RIP Robin Williams. Have you seen the video of him interacting with Koko the gorilla?
