So has anyone else seen Happy Feet?

Della and I saw it tonight and it was not what we expected.

I won't go into detail yet, I'm just wondering what other's opinions are...

...on the other hand, we also saw Flushed Away recently and thought it was really good fun :)

We have a car show on at Castle Hill Towers next Sunday and I was going to take the kids then - so don't spoil it for me!

We did see Night at The Museum and really liked it.

I know I'm probably the last person in the world to see this movie, but I bought the Happy Feet DVD today after months and months of badgering by my daughter to see it.

And seeing as its so long since its been released I guess its safe to say what I liked about it.....
Totally loved Mumbles 'hombre' buddies.... :)
The music was great - very 'moulin Rouge' I thought. Loved what they did with the Beach Boys tracks... I'm a huge Beach Boys fan so I really enjoyed that.
The scenes when orcas/ the leopard seal were trying to eat the penguins were brilliantly animated, along with the ice shelf collapse - that was a 'wow' moment too.

And lastly, it made me drag out the tap shoes and get happy feet of my own ..... :D

At this rate, expect my Bridge to Terabithia review about October... :roll:
