The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

Postby mushu mama » Mon Dec 11, 2006 6:39 pm

I saw this movie in a friends home theatre yesterday and it blew me away. And I am so not into cars!

Has anyone else seen this one?

Keith, you have to see this :!:
Apparently, the only CG are the accident scenes for the obvious safety reasons, but all the other driving was filmed as you see it.
Definitely worth seeing.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift / James Bond

Keith, you have to see this :!:
It's funny, but I have never seen any of the fast and the furious movies...

...and I don't really know why either! I'm a big car lover - but maybe it is the whole car counter-culture scene that I'm not into.

Still, if you are recommending it Lisa, I'll have to find a copy and give it a spin!!!

Now, on the topic of movie franchises, who has seen the new James Bond movie?? I saw it last night with some friends from work, and thought it was one of the greatest Bond movies of all time! He was kicking some serious butt! The movie took a much more realistic view of the character. There were very few fancy gadgets, so Bond had to use brain and brawn to get through. If you like thriller/action/suspense/intrigue etc etc - do yourself a favour and go see it!!!
