Actually - with all due respect, they've had a pretty good year. I expected them to play for the wooden spoon but they are punching above their weight. They might be serious contenders next year.

Good to hear that they are doing okay.
Still only one Gold Coast team that has won a national sporting title and I bet no one knows what it was without resorting to Google.

It's 2017 - one game each with the decider this coming Wednesday night.
So many years of anticipation - so many years of pain for us NSW supporters... We should have won two weeks ago, but it wasn't to be - Qld determination once again triumphed over NSW stupidity.

It was strange but mostly because it was a draw. Never seen such a quiet crowd at the end of such a big game, as if no one could quite believe it.
At least they keep their unbeaten record.

Haha, too true Keith. While I don't follow State of Origin, I like it whenever the underdog wins, sometimes egos need to get put into place. One NSW supporter in our office stated it was due to bad refereeing for QLD losing, but I believe he was brown nosing to the boss. Congrats NSW!
