How could I miss them - full page advertisements in all the papers. I can't wait!!!

I probably won't go until after the Christmas school holidays - the exhibition goes until March.

I can't wait for the film as well, but I won't see it this weekend because of Disney on Ice - we'll be going the following weekend.

No! I haven't seen it advertised and we were just at the Powerhouse two weeks ago and I didn't see anything there either!

I'm trying to talk Craig into watching DH part 1 and then coming to Part 2 with me, but so far I've had no success. Looks like I'll be going on my own... again. At least I splurge with Gold Class then :)

no spoilers follow :

The movie was amazing as you'd expect, but for those yet to go, in some of the bigger cinema's they show an 'exclusive behind the scenes' footage of final battle scene deconstructed... for me that was a HUGE spoiler and took the element of surprise from what should have been the BIG part of the movie.. and in my opinion, there was nothing in the footage that made it worth having the 'I've seen that somewhere before' feeling when you are watching the final scene, and if I had my time again, I'd definatley not watch the screen for those couple of spoiling minutes.

Almost tempted to go see it again now, cos there was a LOT going on in that movie... where DH1 moved slowly, this one has no slow spots.

I agree Lisa, I had that well I may as well leave feeling after that because they did cover alot of the action we were about to see. But despite that, this was a great movie. I read a review today that described it as an action movie and it was. Also some good humour and .... well other things  Was it worth the late night? To see the passionate individuals dressed up it was.

Were there a lot dressed up where you saw it ajp? I was absolutely stunned at the effort put in by more than half of the HP fans there. Really intricate ( and most likely expensive) costumes really added to the atmosphere, and the decorations by the cinema was amazing... we had floating candles and brooms etc lining the ceiling along the walkways and a potions room set up, and Gryffindor common room, and someone had written on the rest room mirror 'the chamber of secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir beware'. And of course, the must-have HP shaped 3D glasses for an extra $4 ... It was a fitting finish to something that our whole (little) family has really enjoyed being part of. When the movie ended Millie leaned over and said " so what do we do with our lives now?'

I'd say the majority were dressed in something which varied between house coloured scarfs, home made glasses, wizard gowns and full blown costumes. One clever gent actually dressed himself as the sorting hat from head to toe, and k mean HE was the sorting hat. Disappointingly the cinema itself didn't do too much decorating. I refused to pay $4 for glasses that we took ourselves for nothing. We have quite a few sets that we transport now to 3d movies and save the extra dollar or so charge. Tight? You bet!

Hmmm - I don't like the sound of that making of section before the movie. I love making ofs...but they should leave them for the DVDs...
