Well done to the panthers tonight Keith. Too strong, too fast, too enthusiastic. They're playing well this year and will be a premiership threat.

Yeah - Penrith played well. I'm not sure what was wrong with the Eels, they just seemed to have trouble holding on to the ball all night.

Hey Anthony. I've been meaning to ask what your thoughts are on this whole Parramatta salary cap scandal and the loss of points?  I hope Parra can recover their season as they looked good this year.

Of course I'm a little devastated, but my position is, if som in the club have done the wrong thing, then so be it. They must be punished. I'm not real comfortable with the way the NRL has handled things, and having to lose a quality player like Peats is a bitter pill to swallow.

Being directly involved with the club has given me a different perspective on things too. The staff are really suffering, and until they announced an interim CEO yesterday, they were leaderless and really unable to function effectively. I feel for the players, but on the flipside it is their push for money which causes these things to happen, but I feel mostly for the staff.

I hope that we can finish the season in a strong position and potentially be in the semis, if not, it bodes well for a full tilt at 2017.  I'm as passionate and loyal as ever at the moment.

I thought the crowd's support of Peats on Friday night was tremendous; it shows the club or players have not lost the respect of the fans.  I really don't understand why clubs think they can get away with salary cap dodging - the NRL have proven in the past they know how to spot these things...

Is that before or after he tries to become a fireman and an astronaut? :-)

He's been playing in the latest leg of the 7's series in London this weekend, his first outing. From what I've been reading he's not had a lot of game time.

His problem is that he's trying to break into what is the best 7's team in the world at the moment and 7's is not a game where you can hide. Any shortcomings he may have,  especially fitness wise given the amount of ground these guys have to cover, is going to be pretty obvious.

And given the amount of actual running time he had across his 8 NFL appearances, his match fitness will be severely lacking.
