Qantas Airways have a great fare to Orlando via their new flight into Dallas... $1135 for departures from 16 May 11 to 30 Nov 11 for sale to 20 Jan 11...


That's pretty good...


Routing would be Sydney to Dallas to Orlando (American Airlines) to Dallas to Brisbane to Sydney... All flights Qantas Airways except Dallas to Orlando to Dallas!

If only... 24 hours of flights and stopovers with a 4yo, 2yo and a baby... gee, why does that not appeal to me?!?!

We snapped up these flights on the day of their announcement. We have only ever had a stopover in Dallas and cannot wait to check out their 6 Flags park!

Of course it now means a longer journey to Las Vegas but for the cost savings and the chance to use our FF points for another trip (Can you say Paris?) who could say no?

BTW - We are going in Sept/Oct for Free dining and MNSSHP only 7months to go!

PS I am willing to swap my 14, 12 and 6yr olds for some young babies or toddlers that drink Phernergan...We have a five hour flight from Perth to Sydney (staying overnight with my in laws) and then the flight to Dallas, a layover and then a flight to LV for a week and then to Orlando for 2 weeks and back to Dallas for 7days before flying to Brisbane for a night with my folks and the trip back to Perth...I'm tired just thinking about who I want to sit next to.

;lol: I've heard some horrific stories about Phernergan backfiring and sending kids berko instead. We weren't willing to try it, Ben is allergic to a lot of medicines anyway...

I hope I didn't offend anyone! BTW over the years I have purchased 3 bottles of Phernergan and only ever opened one (and NO it didn't work...27hrs to Heathrow is a long ride)

We are staying at POR, with free dining, so we can fit the five of us in one room. We are leading a grand gathering of 16px and have almost decided on our dining choices.

Las Vegas we will stay either at MGM or NYNY (We only stay in hotels on the strip and never the same one twice).

Dallas - I have not even started looking. Any ideas?

You'll have to let me know how you go with the five of you in the POR room. It's an option we're considering for at least some of our trip in 2015 when our boys will be 4,6 and 8.

Mel - we did 5 in a room at All Star Sports when the youngest was 7mths. Pack n play takes up too much space but was okay for 2wks.
We also did 5 in a room at Pop when youngest was 3yrs (technically he was staying in the room next door with his grandparents but he just never wanted to stay in there ) and it was okay because he slept on the floor in the blankets. I think having a room MEANT for 5px is going to be heaven.

Yep, we're looking at the Art of Animation Family Suites as well, but the moderate is a fair bit cheaper. We'll probably end up splitting our stay between the two. Luckily I still have four and a half years to make up my mind!
