That's funny - they used to be there upstairs after the Miranda rebuild (that's the first one I was ever dragged too) - but they closed about 6 years ago. Della will be very happy that they are coming back though!

Yes I remember the original shop. Let's hope some other original shops come back, like the Disney Store.

Clearly the market researchers believe people have additional money to spend. A girl I work with has just moved on to greener pastures at the NSW Art Gallery shop for an upcoming chinese exhibition. They are expecting sales of $20,000 a day!!!!!!!!!!!

Now if only Disney would get the message that there is money and the Disney brand is still incredibly popular.

How does Build-a-bear compare with Duffy size-wise? I'm thinking of clothes and accessories or is only the real thing acceptable?

They are the same which is why Della will be happy about the Miranda store - it means she doesn't have to travel to Penrith to get him a new outfit! (and also explains why we have to go to Build-a-Bear in what ever city we are visiting overseas - I've now been to stores in Sydney, Tokyo, New York and Los Angeles! That's all your fault Duffy!)

Mines pretty simple... Maccas in every country... I love their weird local versions of things. -/

And I can't wait to get my hands on a Duffy Bear. -/

That's exactly what I was likening it too - it is a shame that the stores don't sell "Build-a-Bear New York" etc t-shirts!
