I can't take credit for it but I'm surely not the only sci-fi geek!

I had a day to myself in Bangkok and no shopping to do so I found myself in a huge cinema complex where they were showing "Star Wars: Ep1" in 4D!

It was an Imax size screen with the standard 3D but the added fun of all of the seats moving like in a ride and the smoke and mirrors of things blowing and bumping and rumbling as well. Not my favorite of the movies but certainly fun when you are following a ship on screen during a battle scene and you can actually feel yourself banking with it and also feel the explosions.

Damn, I'm a geek. :?

I had already bought a laptop and a video camera. 8)

And confirmed that there was nowhere in the city where I could buy a pair of decent hiking boots in my size. They just look at my feet and laugh when I ask.

"Star Wars: Ep1" in 4D!
Hey - that sounds cool! I wasn't going to see the 3D, but if there was a cinema in Sydney that could show it in that 4D format, I would have checked it out!
