Hey guys, I was wondering what everyone thinks about the Universal Studios Park thats about to open? Anybody have any plans to visit when it opens? The area around the resort looks amazing .

The shrek Castle looks amazing and all themeing looks top notch. I am really excited to visit this place.

Anybody have any plans to visit when it opens?

We are definitely interested in heading up there but not this year. We might fit this in if we go to London/Paris in a few years time - it'll make a nice stopover and a change in scenery to the Disney parks.

Jetstar have next to nothing airfares to Singapore at the moment too... food for thought.

Sorry to get you excited no story there, just some friends moved to Singapore a few years ago and have invited us to stay any time. I could make up something more intriguing if you like

It looks good. I have to admit that I didn't know Universal Studios were building in Singapore (or I just forgot which is more likely). We're getting more parks on our "doorstep", but the doorstep is still a little further away than is comfortable.

It's got some of it's own uniqueness which is good whilst still having some of the core things from Hollywood and Orlando. I assume that it would be a little similar to the park at Osaka as well.
