FINALLY got to see this today...

what a wicked movie. -/

********SPOILERS FOLLOW *******

Wow... didn't they do a good job of developing Malfoy!!!!!!

And did you all jump when that arm shot out of the water and grabbed Harry? I didn't scream like the kid behind me ( too young in my opinion to be watching stuff with that much potential nightmare fodder) but I will sheepishly admit that I did squeek and jump literally clear off my seat... my daughter nearly choked she was laughing at me so hard. :?
The humour all through it was the perfect foil for the darkening direction of the tale.
I was SO not ready for the end of the movie - despite knowing what was coming! I just wanted to watch another two hours of it... felt like it only lasted about 10 minutes.

Gotta say... these movies just get better and better, which you wouldn't think was even possible.

Big ol' two thumbs up in my humble opinion.

***SPOILERS***

Yep - Della almost flew out of the chair when that hand came out. Funny thing was - we were both expecting something like that to happen, yet it still made her jump (I'll not admit to flinching...:) )

I thought the time flew by in that movie too - the end credits came way too soon for me!

I can't believe I seemed to have missed the most frightening bit of the movie! My bladder just isn't what it used to be (thanks Ben and Jared!) and I ducked literally next door to go to the loo! Was gone for about three minutes and look what I missed!

I agree that the end came all too quickly and I would have liked it to go on in a bit more detail at the end.

I really enjoyed all the character development that went on, especially the closeness of the friendship between Harry and Hermione. The humour was really well done, not overdone, but spot on. I also think the actors have really done well in this one. I re-watched all the movies in preparation for this one and in Philosophers' Stone, they really were quite terrible actors

It's such a shame we have to wait for years for the final movie - although it will be bittersweet when it's here. When is the next one due out?

A long wait til the first one, but we're used to that. At least they're not planning on making us wait forever for the final installment of the final installment.

Did you guys have the Coles promo where if you spent $100 you could buy two disc edition of the HBP for $5 down there in NSW? Cheapest DVD I think I've ever bought. One trip into Coles for Zach's Schoolies supplies and babada bing... I have HBP to enjoy again. I hadn't seen it since the cinemas... I'd forgotten just how good it was.
