Any good loot out there?

I got roses, chocolates, some earrings from the Mothers Day stall which I am wearing although they are of dubious taste! And Eloise made a framed collage of photos of the two of us in TDL.

Happy Mothers Day to all the DUD mums....

so far, I've slept in,finished a book ( a rare treat) , had waffles and lashings of cream for brunch, Got woken up to the sounds of contructions/power tools as the kids put together some furniture I bought for the scrap room yesterday... that was funny... and they did a brilliant job. I got a bracelet to put my new charms on, ( nope... still resisting the Pandora urge - thats one obsession I just cant do right now) and the kids paid the deposit of a scrap retreat at Noosa North Shore that I want to go to later in the year which was a fantastic surprise.

I usually work Sundays so just having a gorgeous sunny day with my mulligrubs is all I wanted. After a trip to the beach I'm going to start rearranging furniture in my scrap room and happily fill all the holes in the new shelving unit with scrapping paraphenalia :D

Have a good one...

We've all done the 'grin and wear it' jewels. its a mothers right of passage. Enjoy...
What a beautiful thing for Eli to make for you... thats really special...
Millie disappeared into her room with my scrapping tools last night so while I wasn't all that surprised when the card was presented, I WAS very pleased that she went to such an effort.

Happy Mothers Day :)

Unfortunately for me it was pretty much like any other day. :( I got flowers, choccies and jammies (which I asked for) which was lovely, but Craig played soccer so I was stuck with the kids. Didn't even get my promised afternoon nap as we had to go and visit my BILs new house after being given a guilt trip by my MIL.

It's not that bad, I just envisioned having at least SOME time off today!

Happy 2010 Mothers Day to all the lovely Disney mammas on our forum....

Hope you get spoiled or at least a rest today... -/

Its too early to call here... One kid has gone to drive his girlfriend to work and the other won't surface by my calculations until the wafting of fresh waffles forces her out from under the doona in about an hours time. :)

Its a glorious sunny QLD day here and I have the day off, so its a good day already . -/ -/

This was my first Mother's Day where it was all about me and I gave them 2 weeks notice. I was certainly not disappointed as both boys both asked at different times how long will this take referring to my lunch at a restaurant! Next year I am going away for the weekend by myself!

I read my very sad mothers day comment from 2 years ago and have decided I will take myself off to see Lady and the Tramp! (I can't recall last years mothers day at all)

I had a lovely Mother's Day this year. How could it be anything but lovely when your 3 year old wakes you up (after a sleep in) with a shout of "Happy Birthday Mummy!"

Lol Mel...my 15yr old son actually wrote "Happy Birthday" inside the mother's day card then still presented it to me! oops quickly altered it and proudly sat it for all to see!

Hubby took youngest to soccer, I went to work for set up (we have a restaurant and they are more than competent to run without us but...it was MDay) and got home at lunchtime and we all went to the marina for lunch and home to read the papers before a muck up dinner and early to bed. PERFECT!

Must mention that my youngest gave me a pandora charm proudly declaring it a disney one. Turns out the "pumpkin coach" is not Cinderella's but nice try. I am raising a Disney child after all.

Happy Mothers Day to all the Disney Mama's on here.... -/

I scored the best present ever - my son surprised me by coming home from their trip early and telling me he'd made reservations for us all to have dinner tonight... couldn't be happier, both my babies here at the same time. :)
