My car has no air conditioning. Yesterday was a killer so today I have cooler clothes to get changed into for the drive home. We also do not use our home air conditioning but the pool is always cold!

OT my big huge box from disneyshopping.com arrived today!!!!!

Yeah, mine has aircon, but if I turn it on, the car overheats.... so I don't use it unless I absolutely can't stand it and the trip is very short indeed.

I'm in Penrith - it was 39 yesterday, 41.6 today. It is meant to be 41 tomorrow and we've got carpet layers coming in to re-do our entire house! Problem with that is we have to move all the furniture out into the back yard...and that is hot work!

To give you an idea of how early we started - I was able to catch the 6:30am train to the City once we had finished

Anyway, the carpet is in now - and half of my stuff is still out the back - and it'll stay there until the weekend! :D

Glad to hear your carpet hijinks went well Keith...
I suppose if you're going to have to empty your house of furniture then why not pick the hottest day for who knows how long?

I'm getting up at 4am tomorrow myself to attempt a decent sunrise shot at a dam about half an hour away from here. Probably a little more fun than moving furniture though. :)

It's been a while since we've had this sort of heat for so long. Driving home tonight from movies at 9pm the car was reading outside temp at 33 degrees! Sleeping has definitely been challenging.

We've had some pretty hot weather too but its more about the humidity here than the soaring temps.

Hope it eases up for you all soon.

It's on it's way I think. Wind's picked up a little outside and the thickness is leaving the air. Keep the windows open sandie, it won't be long.
