Happy 2009

Postby mushu mama » Wed Dec 31, 2008 6:38 am

HAP....PY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.....

Just getting in early this year because revelry begins by lunchtime and I doubt I'll be within cooee of a computer until late tomorrow...

Its all go on the hippy front. For some reason I've received a lot of lectures this year. My friend Leonies mum has warned me not to lead her daughter astray. My sister has warned me about a myriad of things that I should/should not be doing tonight - like leaving my shoes on...
but the hippy beads are ready, my hair has little braids all over it with leeeerve beads and flowers, the headband is in and the sunnies are in position - I am in full swing 'flower child' for my foray into the Woodford Folk Festival and I imagine we'll be youtube by this time tomorrow.

although considering I tore my calf muscle two days ago, I can't imagine I'll be getting up on any tables at this point.

Hope you all have a brilliant night and I'll see you all next year... older, wiser and a little hung over.

Laughs, Love and Lentils to you all....

I so admire you Lisa, I think I just want a quiet night at home - I must be so old! But we are off to a friends place with a little trepidation as we are not sure if we will know anyone else there - ah there is always room for more friends!

Happy New Year everyone!

happy new year to all from us! We have an option of heading up the road for a party but not sure if we'll go. Just as happy to spend a quiet one at home, but we'll see. Anyway have a good one and see you all in 2009!!!

Happy New Year - in the morning I can say "This year i am going to TDL!"

We are going out for Pad Thai and then watching the 9pm fireworks at Campbelltown in our secret viewing place. Peter and Eloise will go back out for the midnight ones too! John and I may watch Prince Caspian.

Happy New Year everyone.

Hope a good night was had by all.

I went for my usual walk at 6.20am this morning and saw quite a few empty's on the front lawns.

At 7.30 when I returned I saw neighbours from across the road arriving home by taxi. I smiled and waved and then had a quiet chuckle to myself.

Looking forward to more Disney Club meetings this year.

Well... I survived Woodstock... oops... I mean Woodford....

I didn't inhale ( well... very much  , its not really so bad if you are breathing someone elses right?) I didn't overly overindulge, so no hangover whatso ever... I really had a great time. hugged trees, got another Tatt... ok...relax... only henna (this time) and ate all manner of weird and wonderful concoctions that I wouldn't normally go near with a barge pole. Best bit was this middle eastern 'thing' that was wrapped in a 'thing' not unlike a big roti ( but much much nicer) and it had this weird combo of banana's, coconut, condensed milk and spices that I wouldn't even take a guess at. I had dim sims that didnt even remotely come close to the normal ones ( for starters they were crunchy  ) and rocked out to some of the best live music I've heard in ages.
Brilliant night.

And anthony... you were ready to fall over at 12.04? seriously man... you are years younger than me... whats the deal?

Glad everyone made it to the other side in once piece... :D

1:04 thank you very much. Don't forget in Qld, where the server is located, it's 10 years and 1 hour behind us here in NSW! 8) Plus, I'm not cut out for that sort of thing anymore. Makes me want to spend NYE in a Disneypark even more!

Hehe :D

Good to see that you survived the big night Lisa! I was actually thinking of you yesterday - wondering how the music festival was going. Sounds like it was awesome!
